Everything Chomcho publishes about Donald Trump and the foreign policy of his second term is gathered under this tag. The articles follow the president’s decisions on Iran, China, NATO, the Strait of Hormuz, trade and the southern border, and explain the geopolitics behind each of them in plain language. You will find analysis of his deterrence strategy, his handling of allies who free ride and adversaries who test American resolve, and the results his pressure produces on the ground. This is the record of an America First presidency judged by outcomes rather than by the headlines of the legacy media, and by what every move means for the American people.
Andes Hantavirus — the only strain that spreads person-to-person — has killed 3 aboard the Dutch-flagged MV Hondius near Cape Verde. A 35–40% fatality rate dwarfs COVID-19's 1–2%. If it reaches shore, Trump faces a familiar choice: act fast or face the media's "racist" playbook again.
Trump's anti-cartel campaign keeps striking hard. U.S. Southern Command destroyed another drug boat in the Caribbean, killing two. Since September, at least 188 cartel operatives have been eliminated. Critics question the legality. We question their silence when 80,000 Americans die yearly from overdoses. These are not fishermen.
Macron, Starmer, Merz, and Meloni all refused to join the U.S. military framework to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, Gulf Arab states co-signed the UNSC resolution. The Arabs showed up. NATO's Europeans stepped back. Trump was right about the alliance — and Hormuz just proved it for the world to see.
Secretary Rubio confirmed Operation Epic Fury is permanently concluded — U.S. and Israeli forces achieved every objective against Iran. But the pressure does not stop there. President Trump paused Project Freedom at Pakistan's request, while keeping the naval blockade fully active. Iran still has a very short window to negotiate a final deal.
Peru's 2026 first round left conservative Rafael López Aliaga narrowly out of the runoff — and now he faces criminal charges for calling nationwide protests. The pattern echoes Trump in 2020 and Bolsonaro in 2022. Three likely scenarios for June 7 could reshape Peru's political stability and U.S. regional interests.
Italy's Meloni is pleading with Trump not to pull U.S. troops — after Italy sat out the Iran fight entirely. Germany already lost 5,000 troops and the Dark Eagle missile deployment. Reagan warned European allies decades ago about burden sharing. Trump isn't warning anymore. He's acting on his past promises.
Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent (@SecScottBessent) said it plainly before Trump's China trip: Beijing buys 90% of Iran's oil — making China the financial backbone of the world's largest terror sponsor. Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis — all indirectly funded by Chinese petrodollars. While the U.S. Navy fights in the Strait of Hormuz, China writes the checks.
Trump launched Project Freedom Sunday — and by Monday, U.S. Apaches, F-35s, and Hellfire missiles were already dominating the Strait of Hormuz. Iran sent 6 boats instead of the usual 20–40. All were eliminated. CENTCOM calls it dramatic degradation. Free shipping is moving again.
U.S. prosecutors indicted Sinaloa Governor Rocha Moya and nine officials for allegedly protecting the Sinaloa Cartel — stealing ballots, bribing officials, and flooding America with fentanyl. Both the governor and Culiacán's mayor stepped down. Mexico calls the evidence "insufficient." American families call it a crisis.
Sen. Ruben Gallego says Ukraine is winning — but Russia controls 20% of Ukrainian territory, the size of Pennsylvania. Frustrated ≠ winning. Gallego wants deeper weapons, longer reach, and faster escalation toward a nuclear power. Trump negotiates. Gallego escalates.
Merz called America "humiliated" by Iran — then Trump pulled 5,000 troops and canceled the Dark Eagle hypersonic missile deployment from German soil. Now Merz praises U.S. partnership. The irony is hard to miss. Actions have consequences, Herr Chancellor.
Trump's Project Freedom launches Monday — U.S. warships guide neutral ships through mine-free Strait of Hormuz corridors. Iran blocked global oil. America is reopening it. Deterrence works.
