This is the predictable result of policies that place feelings above facts and sovereignty.
Slavery Still Exists In 2026
Centuries after abolition in the West, these primitive practices persist in key migration corridors such as Libya.
According to a February 2026 UN Human Rights Office report, migrants there endure systematic slavery, torture, sexual violence, and trafficking described as a normalized business model.
International data shows trafficking indicators affect 76 percent of men, 67 percent of women, and 77 percent of children and youth transiting the country.
The Global Slavery Index and ILO estimates confirm nearly 50 million people worldwide remain trapped in modern slavery.
Mass importation does not enrich receiving nations, in this case Lybia. It burdens them with problems long solved.
Biblical View On Human Dignity
Scripture affirms that every person bears the image of God. “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” (Genesis 1:27).
Treating women as commodities for sale stands in direct opposition to this truth.
