Let’s check the map, Senator. Russia controls roughly 20% of Ukrainian territory — an area the size of Pennsylvania.
Yes, Ukraine frustrated Putin’s original blitzkrieg plan. That is real and credit is due. But frustrated ≠ winning.
Sen. Gallego is dangerously optimistic — and wants your tax dollars to fund that optimism deeper into Russian territory.
Afghanistan taught us this lesson. Iraq taught us this lesson. Gallego wasn’t listening then either.
