Carney’s “New World Order” Dream: Europe Can’t Lead What It Can’t Fund

Canadian PM Mark Carney says the international order will be "rebuilt out of Europe." But West Virginia — America's second poorest state — already outpaces Germany's GDP per capita. Europe can't fund its own military, can't unify its languages, can't unite ethnic groups, and can't agree on a common army. Tweets aren't a world order.

Canadian PM Mark Carney declared that the international order will be “rebuilt out of Europe.”

Some of us immediately thought of the classic Christian film series Left Behind (Kirk Cameron version) — where the charismatic villain promising a shiny New World Order happened to be European too.

If Carney is auditioning for that role, there’s a theological problem: tradition holds the Antichrist will be fully Italian. Sorry, Mark — not quite the right passport.

Europe Leads the World — From Behind

Movies aside — the economics are brutal.

West Virginia, America’s second poorest state, has a higher GDP per capita than Germany, Europe’s richest nation. Mississippi nearly ties Germany dollar for dollar.

The same Europe that cannot fund its own militaries without American subsidies now wants to rebuild the world order? With what?

Carney and his European partners are reduced to posting tweets and monitoring the situation — while the U.S. Navy fights in the Strait of Hormuz.

Mark Carney’s Delusion of Grandeur

Europe also dreams of a Federal Europe — a unified superstate to rival America.

But centuries of different languages, deeply rooted national identities, immigrants with incompatible cultures, and diverging political forces make that dream increasingly fragile.

You cannot build a world order on a foundation that cannot even agree on a common language or a common army. History is not waiting for Europe to get its act together.

America already moved on. 🇺🇸⚠️🔥 #AmericaFirst #Europe #Geopolitics
